CHANEL ILLUSION D'OMBRE 89 VISION

From Les Expression de Chanel, the latest proposed by the brand for this summer, I bought:

Chanel Illusion d'Ombre in 89 Vision. why:

Gold is the "summer color" that can suits all eye colors (especially brown, green and blue, too) and 

used as an highlighter on the cheeks, neck, "decolletè" when summer is high and you have your parties on the beach, an evening'event...I use a lot gold eyeshadow also in the morning. Apply alone on the lid, it gives more enhance to the eyes.

According to Chanel, Illusion d’Ombre is supposed to be an intensely shimmery long-wear eyeshadow with a gel texture. It should function as both an eyeshadow and an eyeliner.

It comes in a glass pot  with a brush that is designed to both lay the color down on your lids and line your eyes. But I still prefer to use my pinky. It’s easier.

The texture of Illusion d’Ombre is real spongy. 

Lasting power, I got about 6 out of these without a primer before it started creasing a bit. With a primer, it lasts all day!

Vision is a very metallic and shimmery (but not glittery or gritty) gold.

For me is the shade must have of the collection! Very beautiful when you are more TAN and for summer period. It flats my warm skin tone, but is ok also for a cooler girl.

As smooth as Vision is in texture, when I sheer it out, it looks almost like a clear base with golden shimmer. In other words, it doesn’t offer a lot of opacity as a shade, instead is a "wash of Shimmer on your lids"(elegant, SO CHANEL, SO IRREAL, SO PERFECT ).

For me the more impact, more visionary and strange  in its normality shade that Chanel has done.
